Abstract

Human resource management is a complex issues and every organization wish to maximize productivity through effective and efficient management of employees. One of such strategies is organizational communication structure. It is within this conceptual notion that this paper interrogated invested pyramid of literature on the importance of communication structure to organization. While the paper adopted interrogative technique of qualitative analysis, the thrust of the system theory provides theoretical
framework for the argument of the paper. The paper sued to contend that the typology of communication structure is not linked to effective organizational communication and organizational productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. Rather communication structure is a determinant of choice, size, time and space.
